Robert Zajkowski is a University Professor in the Department of Banking and Financial Markets, Faculty of Economics at Maria Sklodowska-Curie University in Lublin. His main research interests include Family Businesses, Corporate Finance and Governance, VBM, Business Creation Processes, Optimization of Managerial decisions in companies and implementation of qualitative and quantitative research methods. Prof. Zajkowski is the author of over 60 scientific publications, including foreign publications and both individual and co-editor works. He was involved in seven research projects and currently he is applying for two next research projects in cooperation with partners from Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria. Prof. Robert Zajkowski holds the positions of Expert of the Regional Court, Expert of the Polish Academy of Sciences Foundation. He is also a co-operator of a few other non-governmental organizations. Since 2009, prof. Robert Zajkowski has been the Finance Expert of the Marshal Office of the Lubelskie Voivodship in Lublin and participates in processes of EU subsidy application appraisals. Prof. Robert Zajkowski is additionally originator and member of Family Business Research Network (FaBeRNET) that is association of family business researchers in Poland.
